Ethel Louise married to George W. Bradshaw is listed on my Burgstrom/Borgstrom family webpage. I even have a picture of Ethel and George Jr. on the website.

We share common grand-parents Carl Magnusson Borgstrom and Christina Marie Persson. Christina was Carl’s first wife.

The 4 Borgstrom brothers who were killed in WW2 descend from Carl Magnusson Borgstrom and Sophia Allen Olson.

Sophia was Carl’s second wife.

Yes, you would be cousins with these 4 Borgstrom brothers killed in WW2.

Would love to have copies of any old family photos for the website if you have any to share. I updated the website with the information your provided. Would love to have more info about George and Ethel Bradshaw and family for the website.

Thanks, Jay Funk

My name is Kim Bradshaw.  I am the son of the late Odell Borgstrom Bradshaw of Tremonton, Utah, son of Ethel and George Bradshaw.  My father graduated from Bear River High School in 1941.  My question is, is my father related to the the 4 Borgstrom brothers who were killed in ww2?  I think he might have been a cousin, perhaps first as his mother was a Borgstrom.

Appreciate any information.

Hi Funk Family:
I had a chance to visit with my father-in-law -Airus Bergstrom - ( G-son of Axel Alexander William Borgstrom)  (That's the name Dad said he was given).
He told me that Carl was a polygamist and had 2 wives.  Christina & Sofia.
One night he had been to visit the 2nd wife and then to the "pub" and came home to Christina
a little "under the weather."  She was mad at him and wouldn't let him in the door.
He went to the barn to sleep and froze to death.  No hanging.
Christina went to the local Bishop to ask for help to feed her family and he denied it
probably because he blamed Christina for Carl's death.
She left the Mormon church and participated with the Jehovah's Witness church.
Dad said she was a lonely woman for much of the remainder of her life.  Her farm was
adjacent to the Anderson farm  (their son Jack- became a Washington DC syndicated
columnist).  Dad had an opportunity to visit with the Anderson family when they were
living in Washington DC and he was in the AF.  I can lift some of the stories from his
life history concerning Christina and her neighbors the Anderson's.
I'll send more updates when I get to it - maybe after Thanksgiving.

Judy, Good to get your email. If you have updates for my website, I would be happy to update it. Any idea how Carl Magnusson Borgstrom died. I heard that he was murdered, hung from the tree in his own front yard.

Are you related to the Bergstroms in Littleton Colorado? I see realtor signs in my neighborhood where the agents name is Amy Bergstrom.

Dear Funks:

I was really stressed tonight as I've been working on lds.org to straighten out obvious family mistakes
in recorded history of the Carl Magnussen Borgstrom family.
My husband is a descendant of Axel William Borgstrom - his second living son.
I just "googled" Carl Magnus Burgstrom because he wasn't to be found anywhere accurately on lds.org
and your book and extra material popped up.  We have a copy of "Relatives Galore" but not the
wonderful pictures and updates you have added.  ie. marriage certificates, obituaries, etc.
Can't thank you enough for this effort.  It will take me awhile but I intend to go through your web posting
and correct my data.
